Use

Our slowest powder for the very strong magnum cartridges. The propellant powder was originally developed for the .338 Lapua Mag. caliber, but works excellently even in .50 Browning cartridges. RS80 has been optimized in terms of temperature behavior and shows the best pressure/speed ratios in many calibers.

Powder Type

The RS80 is an extruded 1-hole nitrocellulose-based propellant powder that is specially designed for high performance in a unique nitroglycerin impregnation process. The powder contains a modern, lead-free decoppering additive and is therefore suitable for modern lead-free ammunition.

Safety life

The propellant powder can be safely used for up to 10 years if stored appropriately.
